Allied

Allied
Membership is for individuals who are not otherwise
eligible for membership in the Society and who must
meet the following requirements.
Those
with established professional reputations who are
registered to practice their profession where such
requirements exist, or persons who are employed outside
of the architectural practice but are involved in
positions allied to the field of architecture. Individual
allied members include engineers, planners, landscape
architects, sculptors, muralist, artist, and others
in government, education, journalism, manufacturing
industry and/or other fields allied to architecture.
Rights
and Privileges:
Allied Members in good standing may serve on any committee
of this Society, except the Executive Committee or
any Committee that is involved with formal or informal
charges of unprofessional conduct; may not make motions,
vote or hold office. Allied members may not print
or permit to be printed or in any way use the name,
title, initials, seal, symbol, or insignia of this
Society or the Institute.
The
benefit of this particular membership allows you access
to our member database for mailing purposes. All we
would require is that you give us proper notice. You
will also receive information on all educational programs
and a listing on our web page as an allied member.
You
will become a member of the local chapter of your
choice. You will receive notification of meetings
and/or programs that are happening in your area. This
keeps you abreast of any legislative actions that
may affect architectural profession and maybe your
business.
Allied
Membership also allows you to network with the key
people in large firms.

Website
banner advertisement
Website Advertising (www.aia-nj.org)
The
website is currently under major renovation. The
new website is aimed at our 2000 members, allied
members and the public. The new site is being designed
with features that are useful tools for the architect
members of AIA-NJ to use on a daily basis and also
as an information and research gathering spot for
the consumer searching for the services of an architect
or one of our sponsors. This could be you!
This
option will be displayed on most of the pages in the
website (including the homepage). It will be a rotating advertisement that
will be displayed until the page is refreshed switching to
the next advertisement. The ads will be randomly chosen
so not one ad is shown first each time the page is
opened, and careful attention has been taken to assure that all advertisers get equal exposure (on both the homepages and internal pages). This banner advertisement will be linked to
your site. A banner on a web page can be purchased
for $1200 per year.
If
you wish to purchase a banner ad, you will need to
supply artwork in either .jpeg, .tiff or .gif format, sized to
be 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high and the web site
you would like the banner linked to.
Website hotlink
This
option enables your company¹s name and web link
to be placed on a special page dedicated to sponsors
of the AIA-NJ web site, at the available cost of $500
per year.
If
you wish to purchase a link, you must supply us with
a file of your name and/or logo. This file should
be either .jpeg, .tiff or .gif format to make the
link. If you do not provide us with this file, the
name of the company will be in standard text as a
link. CEO level members receive a free Web link on
their company listing.
Handbook advertisement
The
handbook is printed annually and mailed to all members.
Advertisement sizes range from quarter page to full
page.
Newsletter
advertisement
The
newsletter, NJ Architect, is printed quarterly and
mailed to all members. Advertisement sizes range from
business size to full page.

hosted by AIA/NJ on an annual basis. If you wish to become
a sponsor, please contact
